NKG PACE is open to under-represented members of the coffee community who are interested in careers in coffee that may include sensory analysis, quality-lab management, Q Grader training, Logistics and other expertise within a green coffee importer. One year of experience in coffee or a sensory-based field is preferred but not required.
Location
Placement locations for the 2024–2025 program year will be Hoboken and Seattle. Light relocation packages are available.
Orientation + Process
Program participants must be able to meet a required commitment of one week of orientation in Hoboken, N.J., and a one-week placement at a sister offices some time during the program (accommodations and travel will be covered).
The top applicants are interviewed remotely, and finalists receive home kits to help us assess their sensory abilities. Based on their sensory results, our interviews and the letters of recommendation, the final candidates are selected .
